Donorschoose.org

A gift came in the mail today from Google. A $100 gift card for use at DonorsChoose.org.

Needless to say I was pretty impressed with the site, the choice of projects to fund, the scope of the problems being faced by public schools and the willingness of the community to congregate for funding.

I chose to fund an English as Second Language program for children at Chatham High School.

What a nice way to end the year.
